One of our favourite things to hear from our clients – ‘we want more!’

In February this year, we had the joy of working with the team at NBL to bring to life their Annual MVP Awards – a night of celebrating their best players, coaches and leaders. Held at CIEL the Venue in Melbourne.

These guests were in for a night to remember. As they entered on the red carpet, they were greeted by our 24k Gold Mirror couple, bringing that Midas touch (because nothing says winner more than pure gold!). Proceeding into the cocktail space and surrounded by a black holding curtain, champagne was served from the sky by our gorgeous aerialists adorned in jewels, showcasing their skill and beauty.

DJ Kitty on the decks started the night off on a high while our sax player roamed around the space. Guests were delighted by our secret magician performing astonishing tricks.

Our stop and watch moment prepped guests for the big room reveal where 6 Silver Mirror faced men dressed in mirrored suits invaded the space with their basketballs and busted out into a routine. The curtains were drawn to reveal the incredible venue with the Superhoodz dance crew performing on stage amid giant LED screens. The mirror men and sax player lead the guests into the room to find their seats and prepare for a night of accolades.

The one and only Timomatic opened the show, dressed in a sharp black suit with his dancers and DJ joining him on stage. His performance brought the energy to a whole new level, and this was only the beginning.

When we heard that seven-time NBA All-Star Scottie Pippen was going to be at the event, we saw an opportunity that could not be missed. During Scottie’s mid-awards interview, our speed painter Sarah crafted Scottie’s portrait in 10 minutes, which later sold at auction for $9,500!

After celebrating the NBLs finest and an incredible year of achievements, Timomatic returned to the stage for his final act, before introducing The Hollywood Sound System Band for an epic after party. This big energy band played all the crowd pleasers and were the perfect way to end the night.

To round it all out, our digital caricature worked on creating fun drawings for all of the award winners to take home (along with their sparkling trophies). The event was a blend of interactive entertainment and featured performances showcasing an array of talent, in both its star studded guest list and on the stage.

A truly iconic event full of unforgettable moments, we can’t wait to make MORE next year!
