When Laing+Simmons approached us to create something unforgettable for their end-of-year celebration, they didn’t just want an event—they wanted an escape. A journey. A night that would transport their team to another world.

We knew exactly where to take them: Arabian Nights.
And so began the magic…

The Vision:

From the moment guests arrived, they were swept into a storybook scene—an opulent desert oasis rich in texture, mystery, and allure. Our team handled full event styling, meticulously designing every detail to immerse attendees in a world of silk, spice, and spectacle.

But we weren’t just creating a theme. We were building a fantasy.

The Transformation:

To start, we installed custom tent swags—crafted specifically for this event and never before seen at this venue—draped elegantly over all 22 tables. The effect? A sea of floating fabric that turned the space into a grand Arabian bazaar. Warm, ambient lighting and layers of gold, burgundy, and deep sapphire set the tone.

And standing tall as the centrepiece of the space? A 1.8 metre camel that stole the show (and quite a few selfies).

But the true wow moment came with the room reveal: guests stepped into the space via a real-life magic carpet, giving them their first glimpse of the dazzling world that awaited.

The Experience:

Entertainment was woven seamlessly into the night’s narrative:

• A regal Arabian queen sword swallower mesmerised the crowd

• A live flute and drum duo set a hypnotic rhythm

• Guests posed for portraits in our richly styled Moroccan photo booth

• A towering living wall, dressed in flowing drapery, created an enchanting entrance

• A custom choreographed CEO performance, where the CEO made her grand entrance carried on the shoulders of our dancers

• A high-energy dance troupe and belly dancers kept the magic flowing

• A dynamic live band brought the party to life

• All brought together with custom video design elements to enhance the story unfolding around the room

The Result:

This wasn’t just an event—it was an experience. A carefully choreographed blend of theatrics, design, and atmosphere. Our goal was simple: immerse, impress, and ignite the imagination. And judging by the gasps, the dancing, and the standing ovation—mission accomplished.
